Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy.
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you
in time
- It's easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
It's easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now)
All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

I should definitely thank The Beatles for this one. They've given me the greatest idea thanks to this song. You'll hear it when you see the credits at the end. Also, Jamie Cullum, I owe you one too. I love his cover of Blame It On My Youth. It's also one of the many songs that have inspired me to... I won't tell you! it's a secret. But it inspired me anyway. I won't forget to mention Edith Piaf, Cab Calloway, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. So many names! This almost feels like an Oscar speech. Maria, I promise I'd name you in this speech if I ever get to say it. I think you're the only one who knows (so far) what I speak of. Everyone else is just loving the mistery of it (I hope). BUT! I won't tell you, I'll probably just post hints here every once in a while. It's one of the things that's been keeping me busy, besides school and gym. I'm also going to start learning french in the Chilean-French Institue, and that's also going to keep me more busy. But, that won't keep me away from my blog and my blogger-friends.

IN OTHER NEWS! The new school isn't as bad as I was told. Apparently people like to talk shit about things they don't know. I still don't see the point on that, but what the heck. But I can't either complain or be amazed by it, since I've only been there two days. But, hey, at least we don't have to wear uniforms, which is exciting for a person who'd had to wore them for eleven years.

It rained this saturday. And today it feels like if it was june (southamericanly speaking, of course), it's cold and grey outside. It's a perfect day to eat ice-cream! But I had two cups of coffee instead. Delicious mocca. I take it black. I love black colombian coffee. How do you take it? Or do you prefer tea?

Here's one thing I've been thinking about today: Should there be a reason to love somebody? If you're in love, why do you love that person? I mean, yes, your answer (and maybe most answers) will/might be, because he/she is cute/funny/perfect/anything. But, can you love somebody just because you do? I can't answer this question because at the moment I find myself to be alone and not in love. But if somebody says "I don't know why I love him/her, I just do", wouldn't that reflect the mistery of love itself? at least I like to see it like that... tell me what you think, if you happen to be in love. If not, tell me anyway.

Bye-bye!

respekt

so it's 2 am. i'm listening to regina spektor. i was just reading stranger than fiction by chuck palahniuk. man i love his books. xmas was as i expected. a little boring and normal. we did have some laughs anyway. but it's just too normal. so it's 2 am. and that's the thing. i can't sleep. i don't wanna read. i wanna listen to music. and outside is quite cool actually so i'm gonna go put on my hoodie and then be a backyardigan (xD) and listen to music.

this is probably one of the greatest songs i've ever heard. seriously. she plays the piano with one hand and with the other one she hits a chair with a drumstick, so sometimes she kinda looses the rythm but it just makes it sound cooler.

turn your volume up loud to listen to this one. her voice will blow your mind.

this is one of my fav Beatles cover. by fiona apple. my friend kris looks like her. kris if you read this you're probably laughing and saying i do not look like her!. you do. and i love you :)

and that's it. three songs that i love by two female singers that i love. i owe you a story. til then i can excuse myself saying i was busy trying to get inspiration. however, inspiration seems to be avoiding me. maybe it hates me? and i've done nothing to it as far as i know.

anyway. merry christmas to all and to all a good night!

Will you love me when I'm gone?

listening to this song makes me want to have somebody to dedicate it to, or somebody who'd dedicate it to me. I've loved this band since I'm like 12, and of all their love songs this is probably my fav. What I love about a Foo-love-song is that it is a Foo-love-song and therefore is unique and beautiful, and sometimes even funny. Or the videos at least are, like the Everlong video. My second fav Foo-love-song would be Walking After You. Its video is also really touching. Wow, Foo appreciation day! Oh well, it's ok. I remember watching the Everlong video a few years ago with my cousin (to whom I owe many music) and laughing our asses off. So yeah, I do love this band :)

this is an Incubus love song, and probably one of my fav they've written so far. I've listened this band for about 6 or 7 years already and I know I'll always love them. Last year they came in october and it was the best concert I've ever been to. They're even better live than in the albums. This was the third-to-last song they played (I think) and it was an unexpected joy. I remember how amazing it felt to hear 5000+ people singing along and thinking "this is what I want...". Being one more in the crowd feels incredible, but probably being the one who wrote the song and having all this people singing it to you must feel even better. Or at least I'd love to do something that has to do with music, because I love it so much. And I also love photography (but I really need a better camera -.-) and those two things mixed would be amazing! I feel horrible lying to myself and to other people when they ask what am I gonna do with my future. But I don't think that a 9-5 routine thing is for me. If I do make up my mind (in the next 7 or 8 months) and decide to go to college, I'd be lying to myself even in that moment, probably thinking that is the best for me. I like psychology, but not as much as I love photography and music, and to make my dream come true (sounds too disney-ish...) I have to leave this country. I only have to find the best words to say this to my family. And the right time too...

Ok! last one. I promise. I just love the chorus of this song:
You make me happy
You magnify my better half
You make me certain
Though all I have today is your photograph

I love this covers

told my mom once, mom! listen to this!. my mom's reaction was: dancing. then she realized it wasn't Duran Duran *coughgayestbandevercough* and she was like... who's singing? Incubus!

then I told her, listen to this! and my dad started singing along.. then he realized it wasn't Lionel Richie, he was like... who's singing? Incubus!

Incubus has the best covers ever.

nerds will rule the world someday soon.
like they don't already xD *coughbillgatescough*
in other news! We Shot The Moon sounds good. reminds me of Jack's Mannequin. i like this band with piano thing, sounds really mellow and beautiful. i might as well learn to play it, since guitar is not my thing apparently. makes me sad! i've always wanted to have a red telecaster. but! i will. someday. and a bass... and play with my band in a soundproofed room so we won't bother the neighbors.
for summer vacations im gonna dye my hair. purple. as purple as possible. i wanna wake up in the morning and look at my face in the mirror and say SHIT! MY HAIR IS PURPLE! and since im gonna start working with kids i wanna hear them saying SHOOT! YOUR HAIR IS PURPLE! and when i see my friends they're gonna say SHIT! YOUR HAIR IS PURPLE!why? because i wanna have something different in my body. and something as exaggerated as dying my hair of a not-normal color seems an interesting and fun possibility. next year i'll dye it of another color. like Clementine from Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind! and maybe get a tattoo...
nobody's gonna wanna hire me after that ... like i care anyway ... or like i should care anyway. or like i shouldn't be thinking of this.
so yeah. im dying my hair purple. and getting a tattoo. and learning to play both piano and guitar even if my i have to mutilate my fingers.
and yeah. im still blocked ...
